Axonic Capital Inks a Sublease for the Entire 15th Floor at RFR’s 390 Park Avenue – Lever House

Due to a rising level of confidence in the marketplace, there has been a tremendous amount of activity for high-end office spaces in New York City.  390 Park Avenue, better known as Lever House, is one of the most highly sought after office buildings in NYC (and perhaps the world).  Owned by real estate tycoon and prominent art collector, Aby Rosen, the building is most recognizable for its unique architecture, rotating artwork, noteworthy tenant roster and boutique floorplates.  Stemming from its desirability, location and small floorplates, the asset commands some of the highest rents in The City.  Accordingly, when a new tenant takes space, it is big news.

Axonic Capital, the trading and investment firm founded by Goldman Sachs veteran, Clayton DeGiacinto, subleased the Entire 15th floor for seven years from Stone and Youngberg (now a division of Stifel Nicolaus).  The floor, which was built and furnished to a very high standard, features floor-to-ceiling glass and incredible Park Avenue exposures.  Taking rents were reportedly in the triple digits.
