Ken Griffin’s hedge fund, Citadel, recently announced it will be expanding its tenancy at 425 Park Avenue, L&L Holding Company‘s prized new development. Citadel originally leased 211,400 square feet in 2016 and will be taking an additional 120,000 square feet spanning across floors 9 and 14, bringing its footprint to 16 floors. The development, which is being designed by Pritzker Prize winning architect Lord Norman Foster, will be the first full block office tower to be constructed on Park Avenue in 50 years. This historic asset will leave its mark Manhattan’s skyline with 3 ornamental steel and glass fins at the top of the building. Located between 55th and 56th Streets, the tower will feature a 45 foot tall grand lobby, two 38 foot high setback floors, a 38 foot glass-enclosed penthouse office, meditation rooms and multiple terraces.
